It had arrived…the final week of training. The half marathon is tomorrow. Yikes!
I started out the week with an OrangeTheory Fitness class…and that’s pretty much where it ended.
I did back to back classes on Sunday and Monday, so I ended up canceling my session on Wednesday. I didn’t want to push too hard before the race and I could tell my muscles were sore and fatigued after the sessions. Best to hold off on anymore until after the race.
I planned to go to Yogabeat on Tuesday morning, but even with daylight savings, I was tired and decided not to go. That same thing happened yesterday. I’m not upset about it because I’d rather be rested and have no soreness before I run tomorrow.
And now I’m off to the Wine & Dine Half! Wish me luck!
