Detroit Half Training: Weeks 9-11

Well I can’t say that things have gotten much better over these past three weeks. In fact, I’m lucky that I’ve gotten one run in. I started out the month of September with a nice 30 minute run through my neighborhood averaging an 11:51 pace, but that’s bee the only run so far. I’ve gone to OrangeTheory a few times, which is good and keeps me in shape, but it’s not enough to get me through the 13.1 miles. I really need to get myself in gear these final weeks if I’m going to survive.

I have also started teaching Zumba, so that has caused a shift in my training program. Below I’ve posted my revised training program for these final weeks starting with Zumba today. Wish me luck!
